Hello. I'm new to the site, but had a question regarding rims. I have an '02 XLT 4x and was wondering if you can make the Harley Davidson rims fit on those. I know they only list them for f-150 and Expedition. Thanks.

Welcome Aboard!!

All f-150/Expedition wheels are a different bolt pattern then Explorers. Explorers use a 5x4.5 pattern.

i knew that was the case, different bolt pattern, but can you work an adapter on those at all?

Adapters are extremely dangerous to use. Just buy a nice set of aftermarket 20's instead and save yourself a lot of trouble.

Changed patterns? As in bolt patterns? Nope. Same as always. The lug size is different on the 01's and higher, but the pattern is the same.

I wouldn't say "extremely" dangerous. They can be dangerous if you buy a cheap set. If you buy a nice, strong set of billet adapters you'll be fine. Personally, I would not do it. It's not worth the trouble. Unless you find a wrecked Harley, Ford will charge you close to $400 per wheel. Plus about $250-300 for a good set of adapters. You do the math, it really doesn't make sense to go that direction.
