Headlight Beam Shadow

On our 2020 Explorer Platinum with the headlights on high, there is a rainbow shadow in the middle of the beam. Can someone please explain this to me? Is this the adaptive headlamps? It can be very distracting...

Have never noticed that before with mine. Did an Internet search and found many posts about a similar issue from many different manufacturers.
I doubt it is caused by the adaptive headlight feature though. Perhaps another member can explain it.

That is an affect from the outside lens, just the way it is. Mine has the same little rainbow.

Thank you again! I feel much better after you telling me yours is the same way... I kept thinking ours really had issues with the software!
