One of the mail reasons I like my Nissans, or should I say it's why my wife likes it. Turning on the heated steering wheel is really nice in cold weather, and is a great option. I don't have that in my Ford.
I never thought that having a heated steering wheel was such a big deal. If the weather was that cold, you could always wear gloves. Well I've been converted. I'm a believer now that my current vehicle has it.

I have a limited too and there are only 2 settings just like every other vehicle I've ever owned. Like I said, it could've just been my imagination.

2015 XLT 3 settings.

No seat heaters get as hot as the FIVE position jobs I had in my 2013 Escape. Toasty doesn't begin to describe setting #5 !

Everyone uses their heated seats for cool/cold weather warmth. My wife finds that the heat is a great pain reliever for her lower back issues. Each vehicle we have/had that has heated seats were welcomed by her for that reason. I had a heated steering wheel in my Hyundai, and I was surprised how nice it felt in the very little cool weather we get here in Florida. Arthritic hands like heat!

MY seat is heated to 98.6* yeah, my ASS heats up the seat nicely.

Hi, new to the forum. Just picked up a 2012 explorer limited as my new family car. Happy with it so far however having a few small issues hoping you can help with, I have done some searching but wanted to ask too.

My heated seats don't really seem to warm up, I read that the heated/cooled seats aren't great however it barely seems to make a difference atall, the wife has 14 edge & they get so hot you have to turn them down after around 10 mins. I read maybe a filter needs changing? It seems to be an issue with both seats

Thanks
Shane
