recently i noticed a small puddle under my car and started checking to find where it was coming from and found it out it was coolant from around the heater core.

Now what do i need to ask for when i go into autozone/ect ,just heater core hoses? In a few days Im going to be driving to charlotte 100 miles and then back. I'm going to fill it with some coolant and take some with me incase i need to fill it again. Is there anything else i need to do?

lol yeah i almost **** my pants when i found out it was coolant then i saw it was the heater core and calmed down some. So is that all i need to replace?

ok good is it ok to keep driving till i can get a new valve?

So long as you don't run low on coolant (unlikely) it will be fine. And yes you are VERY lucky it was not the core...they are a PITA in 2nd gens.

haha at first i was afraid that was it but I didn't have any leaking on the interior of the car then i found it was coming from that valve and it was only a small amount so i was very happy it wasn't major because i just spent over a grand for a rebuilt transfer case from ford since the 2wheel drive has broken ohhh about 4 times. Thanks for all your help guys!!
