Hella 500 Quick Question

Just one quick question about the wiring for these. On the diagram it doesnt show the green wire going anywhere just the Black Blue Yellow and Red. But it says the green wire is power for the switch, so I am basically confused as to what exactly to do with the green wire if anyone can help me out Id appreciate it.

The green wire must connect to some 12V power source and lead to the correct pin on the switch.

If you want the lights to come on WITHOUT the key on-- wire it to constant power.

If you want the lights to only work WITH the key on-- wire it to a + key-on wire.

If you want the lights to work only when the parking lights are on-- wire it into the + for the parking lights.

If you want the lights to work only when the headlights are on-- wire it into the + for the headlights.

If you want the lights to work only when the high beams are on-- wire it into the + for the highbeams.

If you want the lights to work only when.....

You get the point.

The green wire must connect to some 12V power source and lead to the correct pin on the switch.

The correct pin is the center one on the switch (I just wired up a set 2 days ago.)
