My Ford explorer 2007 model emits black smoke soon after starting, it stops after about 15 seconds. It runs normal again and after some time, it starts smoking again .After a long trip, the engine sometimes stalls.

Yes, the check engine light is on. I saw codes like PO106, PO193,C1145, and B2290.

Yes, The check engine light is on. I saw codes like PO106, PO196,C1145and C2290.

The C1145 code is for the r/s front speed sensor.
