I can´t find anywhere the body lift for this model.. how can i lift my ex by the cheap way.. im a student, i haven´t much money.

I heard in somewhere that the body lift for the ranger fits in this model, but i don't believe it.

Welcome to ExplorerForum.

Yes the Ranger body lift will fit your Explorer. The kit you're looking for is made by a company called "Performance Accessories" and is kit number 883. Search the forum for "PA883" or "PA 883" and you should come up with a few hits about this product.

If you are familiar with Summit Racing, here is the kit for $170 USD:

Hey senator. Doesn't he need a PA 853 since he has a '96?

I have no idea -- but his chassis and body should have the same exact mounting as mine (mine is a 98) since they are both 2nd gens so the 883 kit should work.

What is the difference between the 853 and the 883?

Christian, it is the PA 853 that you will need.

The PA 883 is for 1998 because these years have a different steering shaft design than the 95-97.

Ah so thats the difference.

My mind went blank this morning on my first reply after the long weekend.

Then PA had to number them so close & that doesn't help either.
