Hello every one I'm Keil, I'm new to the forum thing. I have a 93 explorer that my wife has driven for the last 8 years. She wanted something new so now I have the old rig. I can finally do what Ive been itching to do to this thing for the last 8 years. I have had a lot of full size wheelers over the years, one samurai wich was way to small for anything more than a day trip and an 85 ext. cab toy wich was to small for the family. I plan on building a capable off road machine out of the explorer, but I still want decent road manners. So I am hoping that I will be able to get some input from all of you out there. I am currently trying to get my plan together for front axles.Do I want a dana 30 out of a jeep? Do I want to go with a full width 44 out of a70s era f150 or should i just do a lift kit out of the box. I am excited to be joining.
