Hey I don't know anything about rims/wheels. First off, can someone tell me what the numbers mean when refering to wheel bolt patterns/sizes and tire sizes.
What are these numbers on for the aluminum 15" rims on a 96 ex? Also, if I wanted to get 18s or 20s later what do i need to keep in mind as far as fit/size?

your wheels are 15x7 with a 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and 12mm offset.

the first number in a tire size is the width of the tire, the 2nd number refers to the percentage of the width that makes up the sidewall.

the main thing you'll need to worry about when selecting new wheels is the offset. i'd try as close to stock as possible. use an offset of more than 19mm and you'll probably need spacers to keep the rim or tires from rubbing the control arm or swaybar. less than zero and you'll most likely be rubbing the front bumper when you turn.

someone with enkei rt6's (which have a zero offset) once commented that they didn't think they could lower their EX any b/c it looked like the tire may rub the edge of the fenderwell if they did. so, i'm not sure if even a zero offset would work on your EX
