Howdy...so clearly from my sig I havnt updated my info yet but I no longer have my 98' but now have a nice 94 project truck. This time, I want to go up! I'm pretty new to the whole offroading thing so I just want to make sure i'm making the most of my efforts the first go round....
Right now I have a stock first gen. I just picked up a pair of 31x10.50 BFG's and was about to order a pair of F150 coil spacers / shackles but then the more I read the more I wondered if I should go bigger for a 4'' kit? My goal is to have a weekend beater thats fun to drive on the trails however can handle driving at highway speeds if necessary every now and then.
Do you guys think a 4'' suspension lift is too much for 31's? Or maybe I should stick to the 1.5-2'' lift to start and go from there? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
