Okay. So here's the issue, I changed the air filter on my 03 sport. I took off the KKM and put the stock airbox back in. After several km's I get a CEL. Ok, I change it back to the KKM expecting it to be fine after, it was until I revved really hard to test it. Once I revved it over 6.5k rpm, the CEL came on. Now I'm wondering what may be the cause of this? Should I clean my MAF? I'll try to get the code, but the friggin' dealership here in Canada charges $90 to read it!! Wish I had an autozone up here.

Well I just got an OBD II reader and the code I'm getting is P0405. Something to do with the exhaust? I searched and I ended up with answers regarding the DPFE sensor? Anyone help me on where this is located and what to do? Thanks.

P0405 = EGR Flow Sensor A Circuit Low Input

SOHC or OHV?

SOHC

How do I fix it?

The DPFE on my SOHC is located on the driver's side below the cam cover. It is a thin body piece with two hoses at the bottom. If the DPFE or the hoses are clogged you will have problems. I was refered to this site and it solved my problem:

There is a picture of it there.
