if you look at my homepage you'll see that i had the black and red ones to match my truck. recently my girlfriends dad backed into me and busted up one of the tails. no biggie, he's paying for me to get new ones. but i was thinking of getting something different. maybe the smoked ones on my black truck? it's either them or back to the same black ones. those are my choices. what do U think?

I like the first one best. Who makes it? How much?
the company is IPCW that makes them. but you have to buy them from a distributor like directauto.com, lightlens.com, ebay has them every now and them. i think directauto has them the cheapest.

I looked at ur cardomain page with the second ones installed on ur explorer. I dont think they looked that good. If I was you I'd either get the all clears like I have or get stock lights and tint them.

Since ur truck is black get the black ones. Or just get some stockers and tint em those look good as well.
i've done both. the black ones are the ones that got smashed and i currently have the stock ones tinted with candy apple red covering the amber part, and a few coats of the tint over the whole tail. looks nice, but i think i'd rather altezza's to look different.

i went with the smoked ones. i wanted a different look. not chrome, but smoked. i'll post pics as soon as i get them.

I agree w/ Dreamr on this one.... well, actually I wouldn't get any euro's, but hey people hate my blackouts to :D Go w/ the black ones!

Before you install them, make sure to add some sealant all around the housing and to the light sockets themselves. Be clean about it though, because you will see a messy job on the sides of the housing if you screw up. I bought the clear w/amber turn signal by InProCarWear from PCP.com about 1.5-2 years ago. They will show some condensation if not sealed properly from the factory.

After the fact, i would have liked the clear w/red signal better - but i'm not spending another $200 for new ones

Hope you like yours!

thanks for the tip buffalo, i do seal them just like you do. like i said, i already had a pair of the black IPCW tails, and the first thing i did was seal them. it was also the first thing i did when i got the smoked ones the other day. i also sealed my euro headlights and corners. the factory seals on all lights is crap. never had any condensation either, so it's worth it to do it.

I think what you had on looked great. If those are the second ones pictured above, get them. I'm not a fan of the chrome ones.
