I am lifting a bronco II with a cv style driveshaft.
Can anybody tell me If an explorer 2-door driveshaft will bolt in its place?

Or any others?

Thanks.

Any info. would help!!!

thanks again

Will not BOLT in.

However this is the driveshaft of choice when you lift your BII< just have it shortened.

I paid $150 to have 3 new spicer greasable U joints, the CV H yoke replaced, the driveshaft shortened to 31" and the slip yoke serviced. They also balanced the shaft and painted it.

BE CAREFUL! If you still have the 7.5" rear the flange may not bolt up. It may also not bolt up to your BW 1350 T case, check these first.

The Explorer Sport Dshaft may also be too short!
Grab one from a 4 door and you are covered.

My 88 BII is lifted 4" in the back. I am running a 97 disc brake 8.8 rear with the BW 1354 electric shift T case. The driveshaft is 31.5" from flange to flange.
Front Range Drivetrain here in CO can do you shaft for you, they are cheap and good..............

thank you very much for your input.
very good to know.
I just had an extra explorer driveshaft at home and wated to know if it would bolt up.
however we had a driveshft made at a local shop.(henderson driveline)
for under $200. so it worked out fine.

thanks again
