Help for lift shackle length please

If anyone has a set of war 153 shackles. Could you please let me know the length between the hole centres.Any other dimensions would be helpful, cheers guys. I live in uk and am going to make my own because we just can't get the parts here! (and i'm poor !)

I made some of these at work today. However just holding them up against the stock ones they look long ! Are you sure this will give about 1.5" of lift ? It looks more like about 3" just holding them up alongside. The angle of the shackle will point more down to the ground because of the length of the spring. Surely this would give more than 0.5" of extra lift per extra 1" of length ? Maybe I should just trust you and bolt them on to try ! ? !

Well I know for a fact the WAR153 shackles give 1.5". I measured before and after I did mine.

Since a shackle only hangs one side of the leaf you have to double the distance between the holes for half the lift.

OK Thanks Duke16 I'm gonna fit them as soon as I get a chance. I have some BFGoodrich 265/75/16 tyres on order. Can't wait to get it all dirty.

I have installed my home made shackles,got the BFGOODRICH 265/75/16 Mud Terrains fitted. It's all looking good ! Was gonna put a picture on but not sure how to !
