Help - High idle

When I start my Explorer the rpms jump past 2200 and slowlt revs down to 1500 -1200 and stays there. When driving speeds until 45mph the idle is around 1800 - 2200 RPMS. I did notice when I am braking the speed hits 20mphthe idle jumps up to 2200 then dies down to 1200rpms or so. I did clean the Maf. Never had this problem before any help will be appreciated.

Have you checked the IAC?

I checked the IAC and it normal and working correctly.

Replaced the upper and lower intake manifold gaskets and it stopped. No problems so far. Been running it alot and seems to be running normal now.

Almost sounds like a vacuum leak
