HELP!! intake air temp sensor

ok here we go i bought a chip that says it will increase my HP by 60 and get at least 20+ mpgh. The problem is where is the iat located on a 1992 explorer.

Do you have a link to the product? Usually these kind of "chips" that plug into the IAT are bogus and can cause damage.
 












If you get it to install let me know if it works... I need more MPG from my 94 XLT.

u can buy 10 of them so called ships for 30c , i know cause i have bought them for that price . its just a resistor an all it does is tell the computer the air charge is colder then it acutal is.
if u STILL want to use it the air charge sensor is on the upper intake between the ilde air motor an vac tree , its the big hex plug with 2 wires comming out of it.
 






Yep, I wouldn't waste your time ore money with that, I guarantee it will not give you 60 hp. This is a gimmick, if you want more power get your pcm flashed.
