all coming in due time. now that the weather is getting better, ill start painting on the front. had to stop mid-project due to our 135% humidity winter weather here...
James, I know this is kinda off topic and that you would rather not think about your cobra r's, but did you grind down your lower a-arm to stop the rim rub?
I have steeda steering limiters that go on the rack, but I have no clue how to put them on. I have thought about taking off the stock steering limiters and making new ones with nuts and bolts, but I dont want to lose the turning radius. Seems that when the cobras are on it is worse anyway, so losing the little bit at the end really sucks.
#1- chris is correct, i am 2WD. i couldnt run taller tires in the rear if i was AWD/4WD.
#2- yea, i ground a little off of the lip of the lower control arm to deal with the rub. basically, i looked at the marks on the arm were the wheel rubbed and went at it with a grinder. it fixed it.
Wow man those are awesome i have actually been thinking of getting these for awhile and just saw your post and was like dang. Hey how is the fit with tires and all. does the 17x9.5 come to the edge in the back because from what i have seen like if you were to have 17x8's all around the back wouldn't stick out as well as the front. I'm hoping to just go by what you did on my sport if thats cool. I live here in Florida so it won't mess you up much and plus they came out with some CL200S wheels that look like bullit wheels with the grey in the middle. Thanks man email me about it also at jonathaniler@yahoo.com
the 9.5's only stick out about a half inch more than the 8's. my front trac is still wider than the rear, but its mostly because im lowered. if you have a 4WD, you will need to run the same size wheel/tire front and rear.
Mine is 2 wheel drive and i just want the back to come flush so would you say get the 10 wide ones maybe. I want the 17x8's in the front. Oh what kind of backspacing do you have on those or what kind would you say i get.
