I broke the plastic/steel inner hub assembly on my 94 explorer while trying to take it off to replace the wheel bearings. What is this called? I tried the parts house and they said its a dealership only item. Any one got a part number and what it cost?

YOu do know you have to take off the 'C' clip and Splined washer first before getting this Plastic piece off...right? I see in the Pic you still have the Clip and washer on while you have a Pick trying to separate

Yes, I took the snap ring and washer and it broke while I was pulling it off. I think it got trashed when the outer wheel bearing went out. Coco do you happen to have any of these?

I'll probably need 2 but I need them now. This is my work truck and I need it back on the road so I can work.

1) The inner hub/cam assembly comes as part of an automatic HUB and to my knowledge can't be ordered separately.

2) If you don't need 4x4 you can completely remove the inner/hub assembly and drive around just fine. (gives you time to replace the broken parts or upgrade to manuals).

Yeah Ford said it was an entire assembly..$400+ from them. I am just going to have 2wd till I find that piece. My main focus now is my iac which is not getting any voltage.
