WD- 40 or Goo gone should get it off without any harm to the paint. Make sure to wax afterward.

Ditto, use a remover quickly(most waxes etc. will do) to get it off of the top of the paint surface. Once that is off you can see if the paint is damaged.

crap took forever to get off but i used GOOP and that finally worked. went through everything in the cabinet cleaners n removers waxes everything......it only took me.........5hrs....count it 1 2 3 4 5
