Help need some new pads for sport model

Ok I need new front brake pads but looking at the autozone site there are lots of pads for explorers but none for explorer sport models all of them say "except for sport model".
Are the pads different for the sport model?
Do I need to buy them from the dealer?
Can any sport owners confirm this?

Yes, they will fit, i'm not exactly why they say that it doesn't fit the sport. I just put them on the front and rear of my truck.

I called 2 Ford dealers and they both told me the same thing for the model year 1997 all calipers were the same for all model explorers so all the pads are the same. I didnt ask about other years but one parts guy told me it might have changed after 97.

I think the 01-03 sports were different and had a bigger rotor in the front.

Replaced pads and rotors last year. There was no difference in Sport/xlt/limited etc on parts. They were all the same part no's. Used Satisfied ceramic pads ( aka Pro Stop ceramics at peep boys) and Brembo drilled rotors.
