Ok so my trans when out on my 2000 Ford explorer eb 4.0 sohc and I had a 98 motor and trans to swap it out with. I took It to a guy to swap both out and change intakes on the motor so 98 motor and trans with 2000 intake and fuel rails... Well the guy changed the motor out got the top end done supposibly.... vac lines, plugs and sensors ect on the top end but im not for sure though . Well he just left town with it not running and me not knowing what he's done or not. Im pretty mechanically inclined so I can do the work. I got it running but he messed up the exhaust flanges behind the manifolds so it's at a shop to get that fixed. But when I start it the oil gauge jumps up and down then goes to the bottom.... It idles then after about 2 minutes it dies... Plus it's running rich to where I smell gas.. When I put it in gear it dies unless I give it a Little gas to keep it running. So under a load it died.. When I got it to the exhaust shop I started it backed it off and when I put it in drive it died and I tried to start it again and it shuts the interior lights off but not the instrument cluster.... Can any help me this is my daily driver and I need it back as quickly as possible. Any help it appreciated. Thanks Keaton
