Help Needed gt40p heads

Hello, Jim here. I’ve searched all Ford forums and am only getting posts from the early 2000s. I have a 1964 Galaxie that I’m installing a 1998 Explorer 5.0 engine in, the engine will have a carb and ready to run distributor. I’m not going to run a mechanical fuel pump so I can simplify things and leave the front accessories in place, I will run an electric fuel pump from the rear of the car to the carb. I’m listing my plans here so you can have more of an idea of what I’m doing. My problem is that I can’t get the answers that I’m looking for. I need headers for the P heads that won’t come into play with the plug wires and plug wire boots. There has to be headers specifically for this application, im not getting anything set in stone for this application. Can you guys please help and let me know what header companies make the specific headers that I need, or a good formula to remedy the burning plug wire issue. Thanks, Jim.

99% sure youre gonna have to build something. the "P" heads are niche and with the availability (and cost) of better aftermarket heads these days theres no return on investment of designing and building them.

I have installed headers made for regular gt40 heads on p heads more then once

Only requires some angled boots on the spark plug wires
And some heat shielding

You are not a 4wd and you are likely using a small bellhousing transmission so you have a lots of header options in my

I understand that some headers when used on the p heads will actually touch a spark plug but it looks like

I've been looking for a concrete answer in reference to finding a header in 1 5/8" that fits an 86-93 5.0L mustang with GT40P heads. I've come up with some info that your fellow drivers of these cars will appreciate. I've personally through time found that the shorty headers listed below fit...
