Help needed on replacing a transmission solenoid block.

I have a 2005 XLT Explorer with only 60,000 miles on it and had the dealer replace the solenoid because of rough shifting and did not know that Explorers are famous for trans problems until warranty was up and same problem started again. Is it something that we can fix and where could I get the price or will I have to sell an arm and a leg to do so? Someone help me please. I am still driving the truck even though it sometimes sounds like it goes into neutral.
