Ok I am working on the 92 X, I have removed the retaining nut, no problem. My problem is getting the spring out after this point. Any suggestions?

You have to unbolt the shock and sway bar
Put the frame up on a jack stand
Droop the beam all the way down, pressing with your foot helps.

the coil then turns out of the clips on the top retaining bucket.

Shouldnt be hard to remove.

Make note of the springs position, how it sits in the coil bucket, because the new coils must line up the same.

That should work. I made the same mistake. Once the sway bar was gone the axle dropped enough to get the spring out.

If it still doesn't go down enough then u may have to loosen the radius arm to crossmember nut. not all the way. loosening that should get you down the rest of the way to pop it out.
