Hey I'm right in the middle of the spacer phase of my lift. I'm following the instructions from The Ranger Station. I'm to the point where i'm putting the first spacer on. TRS's instructions talk about putting them on opposite what they spacer says 4x2R goes on the left side and 4x2L on the right...the question is how are they looking at the truck. Does
Left == Driver's Side
Right == Passenger Side

For those of you who have done this what did you do? I know it may seem like a stupid question...just want to make sure i'm putting my baby together right :)

Thanks
CP :D

Left is Drivers side. Also, don't forget to disconnect your sway bar for easier installation! :D Good luck!

Ok so that would mean that 4x2R would go on the drivers side. That's what I thought but when I was putting my spring back on after lineing it up with a reference mark I made I noticed that the spring seemed to be bowed out towards the spindle. The little tab that is on the spacer is all the way against the radius arm, i'm wondering if I should grind the tab off then just rotate the spacer around until I think it's good? Or is it supposed to do that alittle and once the spring settles it will return to normal? Thanks for all the help!

Just got off the phone with BDS and the place that sold me my add a leaf...missing the spring alignment clamp and I guess the guy sold me the wrong thing. I only need 2 inches....this add-a-leaf will give me 3. I guess I'll stop and put the stock spring seat back on...might just take everything back and get my money.

cp :(
