Help with 2013 Explorer Sport lease!!

Solomonshv, that is pretty high, also have in mind that when leasing from other states you might not have gap insurance you will have to get that extra. Please look into it.

I've never had gap insurance, and never really thought about getting it. My current lease I got in NJ (a Nissan) and I don't have gap insurance on it. The price they gave me beat every New York dealer by at least $50 a month, and it was the only dealership I had gone to in NJ. Walked in Friday, after about 15 minutes of talking and joking around I signed the papers. On Saturday I had my shinny new car. Didn't bother trying to wrestle with other dealers for another buck or two.

The reason I asked which dealership offered that lease is because I want this lease to work out the same way. Tolls to NJ are crazy expensive. With any luck, I hoping I will only have to visit 1 Ford dealership there.

Try smith carins in yonkers see charlie falcon, i have leasing there since 1998.

My guy was John Fannuzi at Hasset Ford in Wantagh (Long Island) One of the most honest men I've ever delt with.

I will say this. The Sport is pretty popular around here and if you find a dealer with one in stock they probably aren't going to budge off MSRP.

Good luck.

Hello all
Ford seems to do a pretty good job keeping residuals and MFs hard to find. www.ridewithg.com is a great source for most money factors, residuals and incentives, but they don't have Ford.
I just purchased a Sport MSRP $48,640, had $3k in incentives plus dealers discount got me to $44,700. Invoice was about $45,000. Everywhere online is indicating I should have gotten the price down another $1k to around $43.7k. However, there were about four Sports available in the entire County when I searched and the dealer used that to his advantage. We even walked and they wouldn't go lower. I would expect a deeper discount on other models. We leased for 36 months, 12k miles - residual on the sport is 57% @ 12k. Money factor for Feb 2013 is .000125, which is on par with the .25% I have read on this site. I paid $558 for drive off, my payment is just about $500 month + tax, so $543 total (8.75% tax in good 'ol CA). Also, remember to account for Ford's $595 acquisition fee that gets rolled in. Hope this helps!
