On my 91 I have a 9" with Wilwood disc brakes. The rotors are held on with 8 allen bolts that remove the outer part of the disc. My rotors are shot and I cannot find the company that made them. Wilwood tells me it's there rotors but not their disc. I'll try to post a pic soon.

Anybody have disc coversions on a 9" and have any clue what I'm running?

thanks

Call Currie, they built it.
Send them a digi pic and they should help you out.
I also like the new shocks and resi's on the back. Maybe they won't heat up so much.

If you are talking about a two piece rotor, contact Coleman Machine, they make most all of the rotors for everybody, Wilwood, Brembo, NASCAR etc. If it is a basic rotor disc, they can make it and ship it in a day. I have been eying the Wilwood 8.8 rear kits, they make one with 12" vented rotors. Regards,

Don thanks for that tip. I finally got the truck torn down and called these guys. They were ready to help and probably have it in stock.

Sounds good, they can make almost anything given the detailed specs for it.

I had thought about asking them for help to make a hub for 2WD Explorers. Some have asked about brakes for the 2WD fronts, but the rotors are far different. For them I wonder if a stock rotor could be machined down to leave a mounting pad for a bolt on rotor like 2-piece units.

Post some pictures when you get to it Danny. Regards,
