Help with code

Hi everyone,
I have a 99 Explorer Sport and having trouble with it shifting into 3rd , but if you let off the gas it will shift. I am getting a P0733 code . Can someone tell me if they have had this problem and what the fix could be?

Often times, the gasket for the valve body will tear causing that problem, but it usually comes with some other tranny problems. What is the condition of your tranny fluid?

First though, test your tps. A bad throttle position sensor can cause it in some circumstances without throwing a code for the tps
