Anyone ever fit 2 car seats in the back along with a 6 year old?

My wife is due this January and with our son still in a car seat for a few years yet - we need to put in another car seat. Also we have a 6 year old daughter.

So - how cramped would it be??

We have run a car seat with 2 large adults in back. It's tight but easily doable

:us: I Have a Full Car Seat On The Drivers Side, And A Booster In The Center. And I Can Still Fit Easily On The Side. And I'm Over 240lbs. There Should Be No Problem. :us:

The backseats of these trucks are surprisingly roomy..I've carried all my siblings (sister, 3 brothers) in my ex..two of my brothers..twins..in booster seats in the back, along with my 8yo brother in the moddle of them, and my sister in the passenger seat..no complaints about it being uncomfortable, i think this seat has more room than the one in my parents' minivan

I had a car seat, plus 2 adults in the back. Judging from how the car seat fit, I'm sure you can get 1 of them on each side & someone in the middle.

I've frequently carried my twins in their car seats with an adult on the side.

I have had two six year-olds in booster seats with an adult in the back seat of my '96. It is quite roomy back there.

Booster seats compared to infant car seats don't take up nearly the same room. I know this first hand.

edit: not trying to flame, just saying that theres a pretty big difference there.
