HID plug & play kit doesnt plug.. help

I ordered an hid kit for my fogs, aside from not fitting well, one of the bulbs cracked so they sent me a replacement that I just got today. However this bulb I can't plug into the ballast because the male/female connectors are two different sizes. How do I fix this? Can I just kit the wires and crimp them together?

Does anyone know if I can just cut off the connectors and crimp the wires? Sorry for the double post but I need to know ASAP because I'm getting shoulder reconstruction in two days and wont be able to work on my truck for months

I would not crimp HID wires. Solder them and keep the length of the wire the same.
