Well I have the dreaded vibration my truck. It has 75K on it, and i have check the Wheel bearings, Tie Rod Ends, and Ball Joints.

While prying arround under the vehicle, I did notice that the front differential can move ALOT on the passenger side (where the long nose is). The bushing must be worn out and allowing the diff to shake. I also now notice that the inner CV joints have some odd excess movement as well.

Has anyone noticed this before?

Is there a poly bushing I can buy for that differential mount?

cv joints are very likely, check the halfshaft free play, also are you sure the tires are balanced?

How do you check half shaft free play?

New tires installed/balanced at 72K (31X10.5X15 TOYO OC)

grab them and try moving them side to side (betweeen the wheel and the differential) should be very very little to no play there if they're good.

I can move each one about 1/16 of an inch, and I can hear a knocking sound on the outboard side (by the wheel).

What troubles me is that the inner CV joint on the passenger side kinda "wobbles" in the differential. Is there a bearing in the differential that could need replacing?

yes there is a bearing, 1/16 should be okay for play but Im guessing the wobbling near the diff is causing the problem
