Hmmm...Trailmaster Kit?

I had a question on the 98 Trailmaster 4" lift for the Explorer...I own a 96 Eddie Bauer, and want to get a 4"lift. I have been told to modify a 98 Ranger 4" Trailmaster kit to fit my explorer...would the 98 Explorer kit come closer to fitting? (Since my 96 has the darn IFS!?!)...

Any suggestions? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

I think the front end for both kits are the same and they will both need the same modification to fit your explorer. The drop down brackets for the torsion bars needs to be modified to fit 95-97s. You may be ahead by getting the explorer kit though because the rear should be the same. The ranger is spring over whereas the explorer is spring under.
