HMWPE (black) or HDPE ( white) skid and slider protectors

OK, instead of allowing our skid plates and sliders to be gouged by the rocks, and getting all rusty---how about replaceable skid runners, maybe held in place with carriage bolts?

I have found a source for white, or black, 1/4" however the minimum 10 foot roll of 72". Anyone interested in getting a group together. I could cut to fit and we all could pay for our share-

15 bux for 1 foot of white, 22 for black

I just wanted to throw this out there--because I need them but don't need a whole roll of the stuff.

yeah--

it is a 10 foot roll of 72" long material. 12" x 72" = 15.00 for white, 22.00 for black.

So, I guess that is about 2.50 per quare foot white, 3.75 or so for black

Wont take much of this material to do both of my sliders. 72"x4" for each slider. A 16"x72" will leave enough for replacements. Is 1/4" thick enough to recess the bolt heads? Pan heads would grind down and make for hard replacement, but we could cut them off with a sawzall. 3/8" would allow for a better recess and use of a fender washer.

Where are you buying this from? Im looking for 3/8 or 1/2" UHMW but havent been able to find any place with reasonable prices.
