I recently just purchased an overhead console off ebay, that had the homelink system in it. So I took out the front part of my console (Picture 1)

, and replaced it with a homelink flap from the overhead console I ordered (Picture 2). Nonetheless, I thought there was going to be a harness clip already in there, but there wasn't haha. There is a green and black wire coming out of the homelink harness, which and what wires should I wire the homelink system into for power? Should I possibly be wire it into lighting system, and how would I go about doing that?

You need to use a wire that has 12 volts supplied to it all the time. One of the wires leading to the maplights should have that. I installed a homelink on my F-150 and tapped off the maplight in the overhead console.
