i don't believe that washing is a problem, but i wouldn't wax it

Here is another shot that I think is pretty good. You can see exactly how wide the flares really are.

That looks mean! It also looks like a keeper. Did you add more to the price tag to compensate for the paint job?

No not really. I'll still ask $6000, but now the price is fixed. They can take it or leave it. But like I said, I'm not going to actively try and sell it like before. I was just about to put another ad in the paper until I saw it painted. If someone happens to call and wants to take a look at it, then I'll show it, but I won't pressure them to buy.

How much was the paint and prep if you dont mind me asking?

It was $400 total, all inclusive, with a warranty. I'm really very happy with the quality. They did a great job.

Of course, in reality, my wife now likes the way it looks (absolutely despised the white fiberglass), so to me it is priceless.

You sure are going to miss those mountains in the background when you move to FLA.

Yeah! the Ex stays :)

I have been told that if they bake the finish to dry it, there isn't any time to wait for waxing, but I have also heard otherwise

geez, for 6,000 i'd love to pick it up for driving in the winter. too bad it will be in florida before i can get my finances together

Expo has now realized that he doesn't want to be driving his freshly painted ex through another MN winter :D

yeah, and chances are i'll be driving a funny as heck little beater next winter. I'm hoping for a crx actually, with some "choice" mods. but if the situation arises i'll buy a nicer vehicle and finance it such as this explorer

That IS the hood Explorer Express sells. Call John at EE, he's very helpful and will answer all your questions.
