i have just gotten into cars how do i do an oil change on my 94 explorer it has the 4.0 v6
where is my oil filter

Ok, actually, here is a decent vid...

Not a 4.0 OHV like yours, but close enough to give you the gist...

 
























I think that was at 4 seconds- with the fill gun... Funky oil fill neck!

dont trip about it. that where i started only two years ago. then i found the forum it has helped alot.

just empty the oil from the drain plug. its the big nut under the engine. its kind of just chilling there by itself. and then the oil filter is a bit off to the side near the front passenger side wheel. you might need an oil filter wrench. i thinkthe Fram website has some good vids. i might post pix. one of these days. and its not so big but the plug is there kinda minding its own bizness

BTW DONT USE FRAM oil filters
