How do I get rid off the annoying beep sound that comes up when you open the door or didn't turn off the lights?

Turn off the lights.

Easiest/fastest and cheapest way I have found to stop the beeping is to make sure my lights are off and the key is not in the ignition when I open the door. Silence every time

It's meant to be a reminder, if you physically disable it I fear that you would tend to drain your battery. Or worse leave your keys in the car and someone steal it.

my daughter collapses and has a seizure everytime the car beeps. if you need a reminder to pick your nose fine but i don't and it should be able to be turned off. its actually asaulting my daughter every time it does it. were's the bloody switch fuse wire or secret code that prevents it every time. and don't tell me to take the key out before opaning the door even you have had it happen at least once, and once is too many when i have to watch the physical pain and discomfort that one stupid beep causes.

Rumor has it that the owners manual tells of a way to shut the beeps off. But I don't know if that's true or not. Before I heard that rumor, I took a drill and bit and found the little beeper in the passenger kick panel, and drilled a hole through it. That was about 18 years ago. Still driving it, never have noticed any bad 'side affects', and never have heard the beep.

As a responsible dad, you should keep her home. Pain free.

More people drain batteries by leaving lights on, more cars are stolen by keys left in, than people triggered into seizures by the beep. So, they gave us a warning. Big deal, take out the keys.

The world beeps, sorry to say you can't turn em all off.
