How do i remove the oil filter housing??

How do i remove the oil filter housing from a 91 fort explorer 4.0 pushrod engine. Thanks if you could email me at ryanhotboi18@lycos.com i would appreciate it. I can't find any information where it is bolted from in any of my manuals.

You mean the mount that the filter threads onto? It's easy , there is a bolt that holds it to the engine block.......

Is the bolts in the engine block

Are the bolts inside the engine block, or can you get at it from the outside?

Bolt(s) are external to the block.
