hey there, I'm trying to put in a Double Din reciever and I'm trying to order the wiring harness. How do you know if you have the premium system, if you have the jbl system. All I know is I don't have a sub in the back I have rear controls and the reciever is only a tape deck, but it has the auto set button. Can anyone help me out.

If you don't have a sub or the 6 CD changer, then more than you don't have the JBL premium sound.

On our old 95, we had the JBL system and a cassette head... But we did have the sub.

No sub = no JBL.

peace

look under the "Quick reference for audio forum" and it will tell you. If you dont have the sub, that means you dont have the JBL system, but you could still have "premium sound", just not the JBL system, which is called "audiophile".

Yep, it's either Standard or Premium.

It is the Premium Sound System

When you have the "Autoset" button WITHOUT JBL, then you have Premium Sound. Your head unit will have a base part # of -19B165-, AND - you have an external amp (hidden in RR Qtr) to deal with.
