How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?

hey lebo -- or anyone:

again,
Question: If I did go to high will I just be able to do some (slow) hard turns and see if the CV joints buckle or grind or make any unsual noises too figure that out. The truck is level (maybe a hair higher in the front, but it is sitting head-in in the driveway that is not completely level for drainage) right now and I would like to keep it that way -- I may lower it about a few turns on each side later but in the interim -- can I just test for CV noises to make sure I am safe???

and note: I did NOT tighten the torsion adjustment bolts ALL THE WAY UP, so it ain't that high.

Well, if you only went 1.5 to 1.75 you wont be hearing anything gringing or binding. If you maxed it out, which you said you didn't, then if they were binding, you would hear it. Like I said before, some can get away with it and some can't. I couldn't, that's way I had to back mine off.

Nice!

Well Saturday afternoon, I installed my Warrior shackles. I have to say that are worth every penny I paid for them! My Explorer finally sits Level! They were easy to install, the only problem I had was I had to take off my receiver hitch in order to remove the bolts from the frame end of the shackle. Other then that they went on easy. Then next thing for me I think might be new OME Springs.

I like the ride, as is ...

Next for me (and then STEREO ungrades) are my 32" tires and new HD shocks.

Then my Big Cypress access sticker and off into the swamp ...

(Chris: I am glad it went easy for you and you are happy with the result .. little $$, little time; good result -- why ain't everythang that way ...)

I agree. I must thank Warrior for this. They came out with a simple, yet high-quality part that works. I've got 3 or those on my truck right now. My shackles, hi-lift, and my optima battery. Thank you to these 3 companies.
