I just ordered my 4 inch suspension lift. I was just wondering how many rivets there are to remove and where are they? I know of the 4 radius arm rivets (two on each side). What other ones are there? I won't be getting the lift for two weeks (backordered) so I am going to take my time and remove all the rivets I have to and replace them with grade 8 bolts till it is time to slap on the lift.

Oh yeah any suggestions on getting the rivets off besides a torch? I probably will be trying a different method for each one so I will get back to you guys to tell you which on is the best way.

Thanks in advance!

You will also need to remove the rivets from the bracket that hold the passenger side ttb arm.The bracket sits under the motor on the crossmember. The rivets that hold this bracket are bigger than the ones for the radius arm.The torch is the only way to go.

Also there are 4 rivets that hold the bracket on.

WOO HOOO!!! RIch!!!!!!! Moving up in the world!!!

So there is only 8 rivets I got to sweat through. I am going to take my time and go slow. A rivet a day keeps the frustration away!

Time to move up! Got into some money because my buddy loves to gamble and I am very good at poker! Catch my drift! I even won a Dana 44 from him that came out of his Bronco sitting in my basement. That will go in when I graduate, hopeful in a 4x4 explorer.
