How much paint?

Any body men or anyone here can give me an estimate on how much paint I need buy to do a color change on 1 drivers door from a 4dr 97 explorer. Its going from green to white and the door is off the rig.

I am not a painter but not a lot of paint will be needed, but going from a dark to a white you might want to put on a coat or two of a light colored primer.

Quart at the very most. You will want to use a sealer on the door first, not a primer.

Whats the difference between a sealer and a primer. Also what grit sandpaper or scotchbright should i use to rough up the factory paint before sealing? Thanks
