I did a search and didn't find enough info on sagging. Sometimes the truck sits pretty level with a little sag on the drivers side and others it almost appears as if i had a flat and looks terrible! Do i need to change my torsion bars and leave springs or is it an adjustment??

P.S. It's a 00' XLT 5.0 AWD

Thanks
Dan

Check and see if the shackle on the spring is rusted out..they all go..just a matter of when..

Im about 100% sure they are. Would the fix be as simple as changing the shackles?

nope you have to change the leaf springs or live with it (saying its not rusted through and is just weakened)

I just stopped eating Mcdonalds! Now its sits fine & dandy!:D

Anyone know of a good place to buy new leave springs?

a spring shop, anywhere that works on large truck suspensions should be able to order them

Find yourself a nice fat girlfriend, and problem will be solved. She can also cook, clean, and do laundry. More problems solved...

Mine was saggin' pretty bad...one shackle (exhaust side) had rusted apart..so in my case a replacement shackle did the trick..the other side was fine...springs were fine.

Not the route I went but I do everything hard the first time. This is where I would try if I did it again.
Two different weight springs listed below. This was a cut and paste from the cat this year.

Check a local spring shop like Electrohacker said- I bought my springs locally and spent a lot less than the online stores were selling them for, and got all new U bolts and hardware in the deal too. They also had them in stock, and I took them home the same day. If I had an issue, they were right there as well...

Ok... this is way out there but I have added a leaf to sets before...measure width and a length..the junk yard will sell singles and cut to length...you need a new center bolt and ubolts..but you can do it just by dropping the axle...Only do one side at a time...then you have a better chance of keeping the axle geometry straight.

When they build springs for HD applications of F250 (ambulance, service truck etc) this is one way to beef up the rear end...Adding successive smaller leaves in the spring stack.

the problem isnt that all the leafs are bent its the main leaf is bent, mine did the same thing. There's no real way to skimp on this other than maybe you could have them re-arched
