A sealed box is just that. It is completly sealed, so no air can move in or out. You will want to construct your box out of 3/4" MDF, which can be found at any home improvment store. Use screws to fasten it together, and then use cauck to seal it up real good. It must be air tight. The specs that you downloaded should be the internal volume, expressed in cubic feet. You want to design your box to have the same internal volume as the specs. Then the finishing of the box is up to you, you can carpet it or paint it or whatever you want :)

Just take your time, measure everything at least twice, and do not skimp on anything or buy cheap equipment/supplies...

My box had to have taken me in the neighborhood of 40 hours to design, build, and finish... Mainly because I had never built one before, but also because I was meticulous about everything. But it came out looking great (I think), and absolutely bullet-proof.

Those are good subs, and with the properly designed and built box, they will sound excellent! :)

How do i make sure that i have the right internal volume? it says i need 0.60 ft cubed (16.99 liters). how longs do the sides need to be or how can i figure out how long they can be? I havent looked on those web pages yet so i might have the answer there.

Just come up with some box dimentions for your subs I dont know how many subs your getting so if your getting:

1 sub then 13H 13W and 7.5D sounds good = .733cu ft

REMINDER the box caculator will give you internal measurments ONLY you have to add the boxes 1.5" thickness on every Hight Width and Depth measurment so where I have 13"H that will chage to 14.5" H.

EDIT: Dont forget, the reason I have the boxes .10 bigger than recomened box volume is because you have to subtract the subs displacement or in other words the size of the subs mangent. Because that takes up airspace.
