How to paint my 2002 Explorer plastic body trim?

I have seen a few tutorials on this for smaller parts but not for the main plastic body trim on the car doors at the bottom. Can someone lease show me what it looks like and how I can do this? My black trim seems to have turned gray from the sun over the years. Also, the plastic pieces I have next to the window on my driver side door and on the back corner of the car near the lift gate are becoming dull black and the apparent laminent is peeling away. How can I bring those back to life or buy new ones?

The full panels may be more of a challenge... do you have an 02,03 or both? Most members seem to use Krylon, Duplicolor or Rustoleum for the frame area...
