How to remove back seat on first gen??

Hey everyone hope ya'll are having a great day!. I was wondering how to remove the back seat on my 93 xlt because I'm gonna be replacing the carpet and also cutting a access panel for the fuel pump

removing seat belt harness connector bracket with torx not necessary.... iirc
 






You have a YouTube channel with your Explorer on it. Out of respect I would credit the forum for all they do....it's the least you could do.
 






On the 60/40 rear seats; Remove the 6 nuts, one on each side (18mm), four on the floor (15mm). The seats have a hook like catch on that center seat belt mount. After the nuts are removed, you can pull up and towards the front and they will come loose. That panel that rests against the rear seats in the cargo area can be pulled back out of the way and held there with a bungie or similar.
