once he gets into the 30xblah blah size...I get confused...will these look nice/fit?

(4) 15 inch '02 Jeep aluminium alloy rims and Goodyear 30X9.50R15LT tires with apporx. 50% tread.
Fit all Jeeps up to '06, asking $250.

will there be any backpacing issues...it is wider right?

They should fit fine and they will look like jeep wheels on a explorer! lol

I have a similar set from a cheroke that I am gonna put on mine soon.

Check the center hub diameter. I beleive the HEEP wheels have a smaller diameter than our Explorers.

So what if in the link they aren't Jeep(HEEP?)... maybe he was suggesting painting them black... which would look pretty sweet

can someone calculate if these will be bigger overall than my stock 2235/75/15's?

they are bigger,, just not very much bigger,, 235 is about 28.5 - 29 inches, depending on tire brand,

OH and they are wider right? Mine ar what 7.5 and these are 9.5?

am I reading that right?

Those Jeep wheels are called 'Canyons', and have
5 1/4 inch backspacing.
Stock Explorer wheels have 4 5/8 inch backspacing,
so the Jeep wheels will have about 5/8" more b.s.
The extra backspacing will probably interfere with
the Explorer tie rod ends, but at the very least will
reduce the track 1 1/4 inches which is not good.....

As Dan said, the bore diameter is smaller, and won't
fit over the Explorer hub without machining.

Hate to say it, but those are the facts.
(I own both a Cherokee and Explorer, and did
these measurements years ago.....)
