Just picked up a hub and bearing assy from Advance Auto for $118 bucks.
I was suprised at how easy it was to change, took all of 20 min. after I took the wheel off. Cool  So I figured while I had tools out I might as well change the oil. That $%^$# filter would not budge! Best part is I always lube the o-ring and only hand tighten them when I put them on. WTF?? I totally crushed it, pretty much distroyed it until it finally started to spin. How in the world did it get that tight?
Damn oil change took me longer to do then the hub & bearing.

Were you trying to take the filter off by hand or with a filter tool of some kind?

Next time you could try something like this: click here

PS: how do some people shrink their links down to be just a highlighted word in their posts? If I knew how, I would have done that.

Type the text you want it to say (for example 'click here' or 'this part' or whatever) then go back and highlight it. Then click the 'insert hyperlink' button from the menu, paste the link in the box, and click OK.

Easy-Peasy! If I can do it, anyone can!
