I am not bashing the company I am justy including my emails and their responses:

I used your Power Search feature, but it didnt list the part number for my 99 Explorer 5.0L. You list 41013 for the 97, and 41015 for the 98. I thought the 96 up 5.0L's had the same computers. If you don't have a part number for my 99, will one of these work? Surely you have a programmer made for a 99, as I see you already have some made for 2000+ vehicles. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

Thanks for the email and your interest in Hypertech. Sorry, we have nothing for the 99 model 5.0. We may in the future but it won't be soon. Check our web site for updates.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply but can you tell me why it will be a while on the 99 Explorer? Are there major differences in the 98 and 99 computers? I also see that you have several programmers for vehicles that are 2001, and 2002.
Thanks

There is more demand for other vehicles and there are a lot of different calibrations from year to year. It's a long process on each application every year. Sorry for the wait and we appreciate your patience.
Thanks

The part that makes me mad is "there is more demand for other vehicles". Explorer owners get the shaft again. Also, "we appreciate your patience". I got their patience right over here! I'll get a Diablo or Superchip.

Unfortunately, demand is what drives new products. I ran into that when I tried to buy a Hedman Header for my 2.3L Ranger (quit laughing). After about three months of it will be built when we get enough orders to make a worthwhile run, I gave up and bought a Ford Motorsports header.

LOL for that little 2.3L? Sorry i had to say that :) Althought apparently I hear those 2.3L's are actually quite fast because they are so light

The only thing my '86 2WD, short bed Ranger could beat was an Escort and that was only after I installed the header. K&N FIPK, Flow Master and swapped the 3.08 for a 3.73. Even after all that the best it did was 19.2 in the 1/4 at 68 MPH.

LOL Robert sorry to hear that. Sounds about like my 88 BII. A big change going to your explorer huh?

The sad thing is my '82 Toyota 2.4L had a lot better pickup than my Ranger had. The biggest gain I got was when I went from my '86 2.3L Ranger to my '94 4.0L Ranger. That was fun. That took me from 19.2 in the 1/4 to 16.8 (16.557 modified). Next was the '95 V8 T-bird that ran 16.383 to my now current '97 Explorer that ran 16.374 when it was stock.
