Is there some easy way to get the headlight bulb out? I even tried pulling apart the blinker lights to get the headlight plastics out but can't figure out how to get it out after removing the blinker plastics. Any one have trouble with this also?

I have a 91 then because it doesn't look like a 1st gen. I tried to pull it out from inside the hood but it is stuck in there very well. I tried to pull it out with a pliers and it broke some of the plastic from the light. Are you suppose to turn it a little and then pull it out. I tried turning it also but it still won't budge.

I think all of the halogen bulbs attach the same- the big black round ring turns and pulls off, then the bulb itself is inside, and is held in place by friction by an o-ring to the headlight housing. Once the black plastic ring comes off, the bulb can be wiggled and pulled off. (Unless something is goofy on the early halogen stuff)

oh ok so the round thing around the light screws off then. Thank you.

yes turn about a quarter turn, you will feel it click and then gently pull it out..

turn the bulb or the plastic part around the bulb

yep- the black ring usually has 3-ish teeth that must match up to holes in the housing, allowing it to slide off.

ahh that explains everything, thank you:thumbsup:/:thumbsup:
